The size of Brazil emerald was small in the past, but it has also produced the gems greater than 5 carats in recent 10 years, the volume of production has been increasing rapidly, being the important emerald origin in the world. Comparing with the emeralds produced in the Columbia, the difference is that, the Brazil emeralds have much more defaults.
